definition
Habits are solutions to recurring problems
A habit can be defined three ways: as a behavior repeated enough to become automatic (a cognitive script), as a behavior tied to a particular context or environment, and as a solution to a recurring problem in your environment; the same root problem (e.g., 5:30pm exhaustion) can yield very different habitual solutions (video games, cigarette, or a walk).

“you could imagine for example somebody comes home from work and they're exhausted so you kind of have this recurring problem around say 5:30 each evening”
