Libertarians Distort Classical Liberalism

True classical liberals like John Stuart Mill and Adam Smith understood government must provide certain public goods and enforce rules and law, and that government cannot be done away with; the American libertarian fringe that treats all government activity and taxes as illegitimate is a distortion, not what classical liberalism is about.
