Watching live drone feeds for months in a high-priority Russian sector, Jajcay observed Russian troops mostly as tired old men, sometimes drunk, on crutches or scooters, moving in disorganized ones and twos with no evident objective or small-unit tactics — the vast majority showing little tactical or technical competence, though pockets of disciplined trained troops still exist.
