Russian language richer and wittier than English

Russian is a richer language than English for wit and poetry because it lacks rigid sentence structure (words can be reordered, e.g. every ordering of 'I love you' carries the same meaning with slightly different emphasis) and allows constructing nuanced words via prefixes and suffixes, meaning much is lost translating Russian literature and especially humor.
