Superdeterminism Requires Adding Hidden Structure

Superdeterminism—the idea that quantum probabilities reflect ignorance because the outcome of each measurement was fixed long ago in the universe's initial conditions—does not make quantum mechanics simpler; many-worlds already contains everything implied by a quantum state evolving via the Schrödinger equation, so superdeterminism and every other interpretation must add new structure to get rid of the other worlds, which is not obviously worth it.
