Animal agriculture is 14.5% of climate change

The United Nations calculated that animal agriculture is responsible for about 14.5% of all human-caused climate change globally, and on a per-calorie basis chicken—the least climate-intensive meat—causes about 40 times as much climate change per calorie of protein as legumes like soy and peas.
