Football is ethically problematic and its future is in jeopardy because of its connection to chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE); professional football reportedly has the worst prevalence of brain damage of any sport, worse than boxing or MMA, and even soccer's heading is objectively harmful, so a parent would not want a child to play tackle football.
