Jewish Existence as Provocation to Missionary Faiths

Because Christianity and Islam are aggressively missionary faiths while Judaism is not, the normal, unhumiliated, and often successful existence of Jews functions as a perpetual act of rejection and a standing contradiction to the truth-claims of those religions, which originally needed to assert their distinction and superiority over the Jewish community (e.g. discarding chosenness, land attachment, and circumcision).
