Concentration of unaccountable power at the top occurs under capitalism, socialism, and communism alike—communist systems have party oligarchs unaccountable to workers, and capitalism has monopolies, oligopolies, and Wall Street with limited accountability—so any genuine democracy must guard against concentration of power in both private and public spheres.
