Matt Ferrell's new home features factory-built walls with densely packed cellulose insulation, triple-paned tilt-turn windows, geothermal heating and cooling, a heat pump for hot water and clothes drying, and an energy recovery ventilator (ERV) for fresh air in a very air-tight envelope.
