Kurdish conflict is solvable, not structural

There is no deeply structural barrier to resolving the Kurdish question in Turkey (formal border redrawing is very unlikely and Kurdish nationalists realistically do not seek full independence); the realistic demands could be met, much as the Basque problem in Spain was resolved, but the cleavage is currently being exploited by Erdoğan to build his nationalist base rather than resolved.
