When you meet a person, you always have three fundamental questions to assess their character: (1) Is this about 'I versus we'—are you self-focused or service-focused toward the organization's vision? (2) Where are we going?—do you understand and articulate the strategy? (3) Do you see me?—do you demonstrate presence, respect, and genuine interest in the other person?
