US Navy No Longer Able to Police Seas

The US Navy shifted from a 600-ship fleet of mostly small vessels that could be everywhere at once to about 250 ships centered on aircraft carrier battle groups, making it capable of knocking over a country but no longer able to throw a wide net of naval security globally, so even the Houthis' Red Sea attacks stress it to the brink and a second simultaneous event would likely exceed its capacity.
