Real-time contextual news may have no business model

Some real news can survive as analysis composing publicly available facts into novel insights (e.g. SemiAnalysis on Substack), but in-the-moment news rich with context was funded by business models that mostly no longer work, and it is genuinely unclear what happens to that kind of journalism.
