Third Spaces Drive Entrepreneurial Creation

People need a third space (neither home nor office)—historically coffee houses where the scientific revolution and Enlightenment happened, and today cafes full of laptops—to congregate, work, and have serendipitous conversations that start businesses, so banning laptops in cafes (as in much of Europe) reflects and reinforces an anti-entrepreneurial culture.
