Winners and losers share the same goal

A goal might be necessary but it is not sufficient for success, because the winners and losers in any domain often have exactly the same goal (every Olympian wants the gold, every job applicant wants the job); what differs is the daily habits, preparation, and behaviors that lead to the outcome.
