Green Transition Is Materially Impossible

The green transition cannot happen on current technology because humanity has never doubled output of an already-used raw material in a decade, yet the transition requires roughly three times as much copper, ten times as much nickel, eighteen times as much graphite and more than doubling some twenty materials within ten years — unless a cheap room-temperature superconductor and better battery chemistry emerge.
