Thymosin beta 4 (and its truncated synthetic version TB-500) is a peptide naturally produced by the thymus, which is present in children and disappears with age; it promotes tissue repair by stimulating growth of multiple cell types, stem cell proliferation, and extracellular matrix growth, but unlike BPC-157 it is involved in tissue repair, not tissue growth, and does not impact the growth hormone pathway.
