Advocacy data sources should be consumed skeptically

Harris argues one must be a skeptical consumer of hate-crime data because organizations like CAIR and the Southern Poverty Law Center are ideologically committed and dishonest bureaucracies, and that even removing them, anti-Muslim hate crimes are consistently far lower (by roughly a factor of five) than anti-Semitic hate crimes in the US and UK.
