Trump alone can violate his own principles unaccountably

Trump has an 'eye of the beholder' relationship with voters in which they credit him with whatever they want—pro-life advocates saw a religious ally while moderates saw a social moderate who paid for abortions—so he can espouse America First while bombing Iran and invading Venezuela without accountability, whereas successors must actually pick a side.
