Deletion must overcorrect against limbic memory

People remember with disproportionate pain the times they deleted something they later needed, causing them to overcorrect by leaving too much unnecessary complexity in; therefore one must deliberately delete more than seems safe, accepting that at least one in ten deletions will need to be added back, as a cortical override to a limbic instinct.
