Poetic Side Allows Many Descriptions Beyond Facts

The 'poetic' element of poetic naturalism holds that there are many legitimate ways of talking about the one natural world—from particle physics up through biology, sociology, and psychology, and further into aesthetics, judgments, and values—where at the higher poetic levels the descriptions are not fixed by the facts of the universe themselves.
