Corporations Do The Dirty Work We Avoid
Corporations function for us much as money-lending Jews did in medieval Christendom: they do the morally dirty work — firing people, disrupting things, ruthlessly following the profit motive — that we personally find too emotionally painful to do, allowing us to enjoy the benefits of a world where underperformers get fired and things work better while avoiding the blame ourselves; so although there is a real conflict of motives here, you probably don't actually want a world where corporations stop doing these things.

“we've set up these corporations as the ones who do the evil that the rest of us won't do they will just follow the profit motives they will fire people they will you know change things... but uh we get a world where things work better and better because they're doing that”
