An org chart should be 'pretty', simple, elegant, and geometrical; it should not be complicated like spaghetti thrown on a canvas as abstract art. Messy org charts hide inefficiencies and silos, with too much weight in non-revenue-generating top management instead of in revenue-generating front-line roles.
