Economics Is Not a Science

Economics is not a science and there is far too much advocacy without certainty on the part of economists; the 'Econ 101' that drives policy is not the textbooks but the oversimplified vision—often with a right-of-center bias—that all activities can be done by for-profit firms in competitive markets, which politicians invoke as if all economists agree.
