Judge Mongols by the same standard as modern wars

Genghis Khan and the Mongols should not be judged differently from other conquerors or from modern nations including the United States, which has bombed and killed civilians in Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria while justifying it as defending peace and democracy; condemning steppe peoples while excusing ourselves is hypocritical.
