Iran Won the Region but Cannot Govern It

Iran spent 30 years backing out-of-power factions against Arab, secular and US-backed governments and largely got what it wanted, but now that the dog has caught the car it finds the region ungovernable because it destroyed the poles of stability and enraged the Sunnis and Arabs, driving them to band together (e.g. the Abraham Accords) against Iran.
