Animal waste lagoons create dead zones

Beyond climate, industrialized animal agriculture produces enormous quantities of animal waste that overflow lagoons during hurricanes and run into waterways, creating ocean dead zones (eutrophication) at the outlet of virtually every river with agricultural runoff.
