Nordic-Baltic plans were 'fight until the Americans come'

Until a couple of years ago the Nordic and Baltic defense plans could be described as 'fight until the Americans come,' and the transatlantic reinforcement plan they relied on now has two points of failure: whether the US gives the political order to come, and whether it could militarily get there if focused on another theater or not in the mindset of reinforcing Europe.
