Despite being in service, the B-1B did not see action in Desert Storm's famous air campaign and was first utilized in combat in Operation Desert Fox in 1998, an often-forgotten bombing campaign against Iraq targeting suspected WMD manufacturing facilities that lasted only 4 days.
