FPV Drones Overrated; Artillery Often Better Tool
FPV attack drones are overhyped: in Jajcay's drone-unit experience only single-digit percentages of missions actually required the precision strike drones are designed for, while the rest could have been done more reliably and cheaply by other systems like artillery — so NATO should not emulate Ukraine's mass FPV approach but instead invest in artillery and reserve higher-end loitering munitions for the rare cases needing precision.
