Counterintuitiveness Is Expected In Fundamental Physics

Because our intuitions developed over evolutionary time for ordinary scales, it would be surprising if our best view of the fundamental nature of reality were not highly counterintuitive; therefore, when faced with strangeness in relativity, cosmology, and quantum mechanics, the best methodological response is to take the equations seriously rather than trust intuition, which leads to the block universe and many-worlds.
