Conserved Species Will Become Source Sites for Nature Renaissance
If we succeed in getting iconic species and key forests through the developmental bottleneck, they will not merely survive in 100 years but become the source sites for a renaissance of nature, funded and advocated for by the peoples of those countries—just as the American bison recovered from a few hundred to hundreds of thousands while the passenger pigeon was lost forever.
