The biggest inequity in capital markets today is that retail investors are completely excluded from private markets where the highest-growth companies (AI startups, SpaceX) are valued at tens of billions to hundreds of billions, while going public has become harder and more companies stay private longer, inadvertently creating a situation where retail is shut out of the most important technological innovations.
