Optical camouflage is relatively easy and not that militarily useful because modern adversaries (Russia, China, Iran) use thermal, radar, lidar and other sensing technologies that easily defeat visible-spectrum cloaking, making optical camouflage mainly useful only against adversaries with naked-eye observation only.
