Lithium-ion battery marketing claims a 3C (three times capacity) charge rate capability, but this is nonsense—most marine lithium batteries are limited to 0.3C charge rates, which is substantially less than AGM batteries, and virtually no boat can source the chargers needed to even approach 3C rates.
