Stripe's interface is its architecture

Stripe does not draw a sharp distinction between interface and implementation because customers are essentially purchasing Stripe's architecture — what it makes easy and possible — analogous to Mathematica selling a self-contained universe of primitives for modeling, rather than just a GUI.
