Risk-taking requires accepting blowups

Successful innovation requires three things—being adventurous, having iterative feedback loops to process information, and accepting that taking risks means blowing things up—and America has failed by accumulating more referees, lawyers, and regulators than risk-takers, unlike the risk-taking immigrants who built the country.
