Russian population will not face meaningful food shortages in terms of starvation because Russia is a large food exporter; however, they import everything except wheat and potatoes (cold climate crops), so the collapse of imports means reversion to a monochromatic, high-saturated-fat diet, and distribution will degrade as logistics/tech companies depart, creating distribution (not production) problems.
