Definition
A model of agency as a cybernetic control-system organization: an agent has a goal state, perceives the environment to detect mismatch, and acts to make the environment match the goal (like a thermostat or homeostasis). Behavior is circular causality, not stimulus-response, and agency is a kind of organization rather than a homunculus.
