Concept-Experience Distinction
Definition
A model distinguishing between conceptual/propositional knowledge (truths that can be stated in language) and direct non-conceptual experience (which cannot be reduced to propositions without loss of meaning). Many existential questions (meaning of life, why care for nature) are mistranslations of direct seekings into conceptual form; answering the conceptual version never satisfies.
