Duality Symmetry
Definition
The principle that two seemingly different physical descriptions (different fundamental objects or even different dimensions) are actually limits of one underlying theory, so a single quantum theory can have multiple distinct classical limits. The 'corners' of parameter space give clean descriptions, while the bulk has none.
