Fragmentational consciousness vs. integrated consciousness
Definition
A diagnostic framework identifying two opposed ways of perceiving and acting in the world. Fragmented consciousness sees reality as separated parts and allows harm through either intentional trade-offs (knowing you're advantaging some at others' expense) or unintentional consequences (not seeing how things are connected). Integrated consciousness perceives interconnection and therefore can't rationally harm part of a whole of which you recognize yourself as part.
