Hurt-healing feedback loop
Definition
A model explaining how trauma and healing are self-perpetuating systems. Hurt people, by their trauma-shaped behaviors, create conditions that hurt others, perpetuating cycles of violence. Conversely, healed people, through their integrated and compassionate behaviors, create conditions that heal others. These are autopoietic systems that reinforce themselves.
