Definition
Start with a simple working solution and improve it incrementally in response to conditions, rather than investing heavily in a large up-front plan that may not fit the environment. Jonas applies this to shelter-building (simple A-frame improved over time vs. a labor-intensive log cabin), and Lex generalizes it to successful companies that ship a prototype and improve fast.
