A framing in which the question of automation has nested layers of increasing radicalness: an outer layer of moderate job displacement (addressed by reeducation and flexible labor markets), a middle layer of full post-work cessation of labor, and a deepest layer of technological maturity with post-instrumentality and plasticity after superintelligence.
