Definition
A model of epistemology proposing that any model or concept—even scientific ones like 'atoms'—necessarily requires infinite background conditions and is thus inherently incomplete. Models are useful for certain purposes but filtering reality through a fixed model deadens perception by preventing observation of what the model misses. Openness to model-inadequacy is necessary for continued learning.
