Definition
A model explaining that even seemingly individual vices (impulsiveness, addiction, selfishness) are manifestations of fragmentation at the level of the self: conflict between present-self and future-self, immediate impulse and long-term values. This same dynamic scales to interpersonal and systemic conflict. Healing involves parts integration, not just willpower.
