A framework for employer-employee relations as a 'third way' between the lifetime-employment 'family' model and pure 'free agency': structured around mutual-trust 'tours of duty' (defined 2-5 year project commitments), open honest conversations, a 'right of first conversation,' and ongoing alumni relationships, designed to combine the relationship/trust of the family model with the flexibility of free agency.
