Definition
Marvin Harris's anthropological model dividing civilizations into three co-determining levels: (1) Infrastructure—technologies, material production, energy systems; (2) Social Structures—institutions, governance, law; (3) Superstructure—religion, ideology, culture, values, psychology. Changes at any level influence the others; addressing meta-crisis requires transformation at all three simultaneously.
